The National Railway Museum in York has recently had a makeover using six 20ft WhiteCrate container conversions! The new outdoor food offering has been an extension of the existing indoor café in the main hall. The eatery sits alongside a reconditioned railway carriage named ‘The Valiant” where visitors can enjoy a traditional dining carriage experience whilst they eat some lunch. Our multi coloured WhiteCrate’s are situated right next to the carriage and boast a gelateria and Pizzeria for all railway museum guests to enjoy. The ‘Container café’ is made of three 20ft shipping containers on the lower level with one on the top level. All of the lower level containers make up the back of house, pizzeria and gelateria. We then have two converted WhiteCrates situated nearby as covered seating areas, so you can take your pizza and ice cream to eat over there in a “British Railways” branded container. Head on over to the National Railway Museum and try out the brand new WhiteCrate container café experience for yourself !
